” We want people to have an inroad to go deeper.”
Your generous contribution will support the installation of a month-long exhibition of dramaturgical research, as well as final development and distribution of aninteractive smartphone application.

“This is the first time in my process where I will be able to take my dramaturgical research and turn it into an interactive exhibition for people coming to see the live performances.”

The Chicago premier of 3 Singers in January 2015 will feature a month-long exhibition of the dramaturgical research for the project through a special partnership with the National Museum of Health and Medicine.  This exhibition will highlight in-depth key concepts addressed in the live performance and provide audiences access to historical imagery, first person narratives and contemporary activist organizations. It will be free and open to the public for an additional three weeks after the performances.

The exhibition will live on in the National Museum of Health and Medicine Chicago archives of exhibitions. These archives are accessible to the public at any time both  online and through on onsite database located at the museum.

Audiences can further engage with 3 Singers  through a smartphone application developed specifically for the multi-media installation at the National Museum of Health and Medicine Chicago.  This app will provide access to those who attend the exhibition as well as those who are unable to attend to multiple articles, legislative information, archival imagery, current production video and organizations addressing female textile laborers.
