Clown artists Erica Mott (Ogtel) and Nick Johne (Pernod) present Ogtel and Pernod: Closed, a comic meditation on consumerism and consumption. Audiences encounter Ogtel and Pernod shortly after their departure from the land of OGNOD, which they have left to fulfill their dreams of becoming wealthy and happy in the promised land. Following an easy 12-step guide to happiness, Ogtel and Pernod negotiate this strange landscape, performing ridiculous rituals to comic and disastrous effect, all in the pursuit of wealth, power, and instant gratification.
