This Saturday, Sept 30th at 7:30pm, Erica Mott Productions will mount their lauded Trials and Trails from their Cowboys and Vikings Trilogy at Steelworkers Park (87th and the lakefront in Chicago) for a third year in a row through Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks. We’re honored to be joined once again by the Horace Mann Marching Mustangs! The one-night-only show is FREE and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you there!
This year there is NO SHUTTLE service from downtown to the show. So how can you find us?
- DRIVE (and CARPOOL): From Southbound Lake Shore Drive, turn east (left) onto E. 87th St. Keep to the right of the concrete barriers, continue straight to the cul-de-sac. Here you can find parking and the entrance to the park.
- TAKE THE METRA: Ride the Metra Electric Line at Millennium Station directly to the 87th St stop. From there, the park is about a 10 minute walk toward the lake.
- TAKE THE CTA: From the Loop, take the J14 bus south, hop off at 87th & Jeffery, then transfer to the 87 bus heading east. Get off at 87th & Buffalo stop and walk less than 5 minutes to the entrance of the Park.
- BIKE: Don the appropriate lights and reflective gear and follow the Chicago Lakefront Trail to 87th St. Turn at the light toward the lake and follow the drive into the park.
