Blake Russell is ecstatic to join the Cowboys & Vikings project again.

As an actor for stage and film, his recent theatrical credits include: The Glory of the World (d. Les Waters) and That High Lonesome Sound (d. Pirronne Yousefzadeh) within the Humana Festival of New American Plays, The Blissful Orphans (d. Marti Lyons) at Actors Theatre of Lousiville, hamlet is dead. no gravity (d. Seth Bockley) English language premiere with Red Tape Theatre, and the Chicago premiere of Partners with Live Wire Theatre. He often works with Claire Ashley’s wearable inflatables and is a previous company member with Mark Jeffery and Judd Morrissey’s atom-r. Blake is an alumnus of HB Studio (NYC), School at Steppenwolf, and the acting apprenticeship at the Actors Theatre of Louisville.

As a producer for artistic and community events, Blake is a founding producer of the Chicago Home Theater Festival which provides a platform for artists and audience to cross pollinate this hyper-segregated city. He also co-producedVoices Inside: A Prison Play Series with the Northpoint Training Center and Actors Theatre of Louisville. Residencies include High Concept Laboratories, The Center on Halsted & Human Made Gallery, and Links Hall (October 2015).
